Black and White bar issue

Hi,

we're using the latest version of phpThumb (http://www.trendhunter.com/thcp/plugins ... o.demo.php), and whenever we try to create an 80x80 from a black and white source picture we seem to get white bars running up and down our image:

I tried removing the bg parameter, since the default is FFFFFF anyways, but that doesn't keep the image at 80x80, which we want to force.

Anyone have any suggestions?
